Friendship bracelet
Colours on this bracelets are in same order like in box of colorful pencils: yellow, orange, red, violet, blu, green. It is good idea for beginners, because it helps to keep correct order of threads and avoid crossing them.
Friendship bracelets
Several month ago I started to make friendship bracelet. It is quite simple, you kave to learn only one knot. Great activity for children, my 10 old niece make bracelets perfectly.

Sashiko and Susan Briscoe
Some years ago I have heard about sashiko. And found out blog of Susan Briscoe (I think she is number 1 in sashiko in UK). Her book on sashiko is full of beautiful patterns. Sashiko is old, but patterns looks very modern.
On 4. Prague Patchwork Meeting I met with Susan and it was very nice meeting. I have been on her sashiko workshop, because I donot think that book can learn as good as teacher. She is not only expert, she is nice person. I recommend to visit her blog and her website.
On picture we are on evening party on the boat. You can see Susan, Valeria from Ukraina, another great person. Then my niece Karolina, she has ten years and she has some wxperience with knitting, crocheting and patchwork too. And thanks to Susan she knows, what is sashiko.

Do you love mandalas?
Mandalas are pictures with central symetry, it is used as spiritual symbol, but it could be used for coloring too. Great idea for kids, but I believe, that adults would like coloring mandalas at the same time. You can start with white paper or to find somewhere on internet websites with printable coloring pages.
