Take it Further challenge
Last year I joined in Take a Stitch Tuesday from SharonB. I started, I made my stitches more than 20 weeks, but then I went to hospital and I never came back. I am sorry about it.
For 2008 there is another challenge: Take it Further. I hesitated to join it, but now I decided YES. I want to be there. One topic for one month, it could be not so difficult for me.
Maybe I will go succesfully through all year, maybe I fail. But anyway it is chance to learn something, to see works from other people.

My modular pullovers
I finished two modular pullovers for competition organised by my favourite on-line yarn shop.

More pictures of this pullover and some more models from other knitters you can see here.
Second pullover could be seen here, scroll the page down, because it is on same page with another competing models.

Knitted art
REcently I dicovered knitting art by Mafuyu Murakami, japan ilustrator, that use knitting needles and yarns to make real art.
Interview with Mafuyu you can read here.
I love knitting, but I still knit more functional things like pullovers or scarfs. And I admire people they can skip limitation of practical using and make something like Mafuyu.
